FAQ#0: HELP! FLASHING WENT WRONG!
Since v12b2 Uberoid default dumps your original env_uboot before it flashes on your device. When a first flash went wrong, you can recover your tablet most probably using this env_uboot file, it's basically a file that configs your tablet's hardware for Android. Use Dia_Betu's WMT_Editor or HcH's CHANGER that uses Robotop's ebin2txt from to read the backupfile SD:\ENV.BIN and convert it into a readable file. Then replace the values of the problematic parts of your tablet (e.g. touch screen or sound) on an option most close to your device specs (7inch, blue led for example).

FAQ#1: HowTo Flash a unknown or unlisted tablet model:
Before installing the ROM on a unknown / unlisted tablet model I recommend using UberoidTool by Dia Betu.

Step 1. Start UBEROIDTOOL.exe, prepare your SD Card to make a backup of your tablet environment settings. After selection of SD Card you have the option to format or not selected SD. On the "Prepare" step, the application copies a a backupscript to the SD card.
Step 2. Turn off your tablet and insert the SD.
Step 3. Power on the tablet ! Wait to see the script running!
Step 4. After 3 is done, remove the SD and insert it back into your pc.
Step 5. Save the backup folder into safe location.
On "Transfer" the application copy the Uberoid into SD Card with your original
tablet settings!

FAQ#2: HowTo flash the ROM normal, if you know your model:
From a temporary location / hard disk:
1. Extract archive to your local PC in a temporary location
2. Try to identify your tablet model (M009s/M003s/M012s/etc.)
3. Run CHANGER.BAT from your this temporary directory and see what models
there are. * type "FIND" <enter> to search for a model.
4. Put in the number of your model and press <enter>
5. CHANGER will ask you to copy to SD, press "Y" <enter>
6. Enter the drive letter of your SD as listed on the SDTOOL
7. Turn off your tablet
8. Insert SD
9. Turn on your tablet
10. Follow on screen instructions
11. Enjoy a better tablet

Direct extraction to SD card:
1. Extract archive to SD CARD (so a directory SD:\FirmwareInstall is present and the file wmt_scriptcmd in the sd root)
2. Try to identify your tablet model (M009s/M003s/M012s/etc.)
3. Run CHANGER.BAT from your SD root and see what models there are
4. Put in the number of your model and press <enter> (do not copy to SD)
5. Turn off your tablet
6. Insert SD

Install0us, la célébre app permettant d’installer n’importe quelle application sur iphone et ipad jailbreaké a fermé ses portes. Nous avons mis sous la lumière des projecteur la semaine passée Kuaiyong, un concurrent direct d’itunes fait par des développeurs Chinois, ce logiciel permet d’installer des APP sur les appareils NON jailbreakés. Malheureusement ce dernier a subit la pression d’Apple pour arrêter son activité (du moins la partie illégale). Il reste donc deux concurrent en liste, Zeusmos (qui n nécessite pas de jailbreak non plus), dont nous vous parlerons ultérieurement pour cause de mise a jour de leur suite de service. Le dernier en liste rejoint l’esprit originel d’installous, j’entends par la une application réservée aux appareil jailbreakés, l’application étant a installer via cydia.

Mise a jour (14/02/2013) : petit paragraphe en fin d’article pour présenter d’autres concurrents : Vshare, 25PP, appcacke, AppAddict,…

Requis:
_ iPhone / iPad / iPod jailbreaké

 

Méthode :

1. Installer  » IPAStore  » :

- Ouvrez « Cydia »
- Appuyez sur « Manage » dans la barre du bas
- Appuyez sur l’icône « Sources »
- Appuyez sur « Edit » en haut à droite
- Appuyez sur « Add » en haut à gauche
- Tapez l’adresse « http://repo.ipastore.me »
- Appuyez sur « Add Source »
- Patientez…
- Appuyez sur « Done »

- Cherchez « IPAStore » dans le moteur de recherche
- Sélectionnez le pacquet
- Appuyez sur « Install » en haut à droite
- Appuyez sur « Confirm » dans la fenêtre qui s’ouvre
- Appuyez sur le bouton « Relancer le springboard » une fois l’installation terminée

 

2. Le fonctionnement est très similaire a celui d’installous : Vous recherchez ou parcourez les application référencées.



 

3. Ce qui vous mène a la fiche d’une app, cette dernière contient toutes les infos concernant le logiciel ainsi que les liens de téléchargements vers différents serveurs.



 

4. Une fois votre choix fait, il ne vous reste plus qu’a patienter le temps du téléchargement.



 

5. Une fois le fichier en votre possession, cliquez dessus, et installez-le.



 

 

et voila , le tour est joué

Pour aller plus loin : Installer un IPA manuellement


Anciennement, installous permettait d’installer manuellement vos IPA (applications), que vous aviez téléchargé depuis le net sur votre PC. Mais depuis la fermeture de ses serveur installous ne peut meme plus remplir cette fonction…

1. Téléchargez votre fichier IPA (merci google)

2. Envoyez ce fichier dans votre iDevice (via Diskaid) si vous avez téléchargé depuis votre PC. (Vous pouvez télécharger depuis votre iPhone avec le Plugin Safari Download Manager dispo sur cydia) :

3. Sur cydia, téléchargez l’application « IPA Installer » (dispo sur le repo « http://repo.insanelyi.com/ », c’est une Source a ajouter)

4. Une fois installée, ouvrez cette nouvelle application,celle-ci vous demande un activation rapide et gratuite. Cliquez sur le bouton « Get Ticket » :



 

5. Une page web s’ouvre, copiez la Clé qui s’y affiche.



 

6. Fermez safari, puis relancer IPA Installer. Enfin, collez votre sérial dans le champ prévu, puis cliquez sur Check.



 

7. Une fois le logiciel activé, naviguez dans le système de fichier de votre appareil afin d’y retrouver votre IPA fraichement ajoutée.



 

8. Cliquez sur le fichier IPA pour démarrer son installation.

Pour aller ENCORE plus loin :

D’autres Downloaders existent pour télécharger vos applications crackés. Le fonctionnement est similaire a celui d’IPAStore et ne sera pas détaillé. Il s’agit donc d’un listing, mais rien de plus:

_ 25PP: (que nous avions présenté ICI) peut aussi etre installé sur iPhone, l’avantage de ce dernier est un téléchargment rapide, sans captcha ni prise de tête.

L’inconvénient, c’est que l’app est en chinois. Il faudra donc utiliser le tweak de cydia nommé « Auto-app translate » pour avoir un affichage en français (dans auto app translate, cochez les cases relatives a 25PP nommées « Auto translate » et « Realtime translation ».



 

_AppAddict: trés simpliste et trés fonctionnel. Son fonctionnement est similaire a IPAStore, vous devez par des sites de type Megaupload pour télécharger vos apps.
L’application s’installe depuis Safari sur votre iDevice, rendez vous sur « http://www.appaddict.org/app/«



 

_ AppCake : Un vieu de la vielle toujours actif. Nous en avions deja parlé en 2009, rien de mieux ni de moins bien qu’IPAStore si ce n’est qu’il est peu favorisé.

_ Vshare : Le concurrent, du concurrent. Le concurrent d’IPAStore est vShare, toujours en chinois. Le logiciel est plus joli , plus complet , et il permet a la façon d’installous de faire les mises a jour de vos applications. Mais il a deux gros défaut, la lenteur de téléchargement, et bon nombres d’applications sont référencées avec leur nom écrit en chinois… Ce qui les rends impossible a retrouver via le formulaire de recherche… Plutôt frustrant.
